A striking pair of brass Qilin statues, crafted in traditional Chinese style and featuring detailed texturing, armour plating, and expressive mythical features. Qilin (sometimes called Kirin) are auspicious Feng Shui creatures symbolising protection, prosperity, success, and good fortune.
This matched set shows the qilin in dynamic forward-striding poses, each with ornate brass embellishments on the head, armour panels, breastplate and tail. The bodies are finished with rich texturing, dragon-like scales and stylised flames around the shoulders.
They make an excellent décor pair for shelves, desks, entryways or Feng Shui practice, representing balance and warding off negative energy when displayed together.
