Vintage Dual-Chamber Hand-Blown Glass Flask – Green Glass Y-Shaped Spirit/Oil Vessel – c.1970s–1990s
 
Description:
A striking vintage dual-chamber hand-blown glass flask in pale green glass, formed in a distinctive Y-shaped body with two completely separate internal chambers and two curved necks. This type of flask was traditionally used for storing or carrying two different liquids—typically spirits, oils, vinegars or perfumed waters—within a single vessel. The ribbed, applied-thread necks provide grip, while the divided teardrop body shows the clear separation between chambers. 
The rounded underside is typical of travelling flasks and dual-chamber vessels, which were designed to be stored flat, hung, or held in fitted racks or netting. As such, the piece does not sit upright securely on its own.
A sculptural, uncommon form of utilitarian glassware that also displays beautifully as a decorative object.
