A substantial vintage timber storage chest with a hinged lift-top lid and integrated lower drawers. The design combines the look of a traditional trunk with practical furniture functionality, making it suitable for use as a coffee table, blanket chest, or storage piece.
 
The top features wide timber boards reinforced with metal strap detailing, while the body is finished in a distressed painted surface with contrasting timber edges. Original-style metal hardware, including handles and latch fittings, remain in place. Internally, the chest offers a large storage cavity beneath the lid, along with multiple drawers providing additional organised storage.
Constructed primarily in timber with metal hardware throughout.
 
Condition is consistent with age and use, showing surface wear, paint loss, marks, and patina that contribute to its character.  Structurally sound and functional.
