This vintage Moroccan rug is part of our vintage collection that can range anywhere from the 1980's to the early 20th century.
Scouring the souks and often ending up in back alley ways and garages we handpick each rug for its combination of age, design and symbols used, along with its authenticity.
There are many fake 'Vintage' rugs out there and we only deal with certain styles that we can guarantee the authenticity of them actually being an old rug.

FABRIC
This Moroccan rug is made from all natural fibers, with the largest portion being sheep wool.
You can often find trims of goat hair and cotton.
MAKER
This rug was handmade for the architecture of the makers house and not for the commercial market. The maker learnt techniques from her ancestors and used these to proudly make this rug for her own home.
She did her magic on the loom -literally- incorporating ancient symbols to deflect the evil eye
and bring good luck to them -the maker- that is now passed down to the future owner of the rug.
