A vintage collectible green glass skull bottle produced by Wheaton Glass Company, New Jersey (WHEATON NJ), dating to approximately c.1960s–1970s. These bottles were part of Wheaton’s historic and novelty series, inspired by antique poison bottles but manufactured as display and collectible items.
This example features strong moulded detailing, including the skull face, teeth, eye sockets, and branching crack-like lines across the dome. The underside is clearly embossed “WHEATON NJ”, along with the expected mould number found on mid-century Wheaton pieces. A bold and characterful display bottle sought after by apothecary, poison-bottle, and Americana collectors.
